Brightest GRB / Preparing for HEAD meeting

Yesterday was a great day for the GRB community. Not only were there four GRBs detected, but one was of record-breaking brightness! Unfortunately, I haven't yet been able to look at GRB 080319B because I've been swamped preparing for the HEAD meeting.

I am very nearly done with the research I intend to present at the conference. Today I finalized error bars and sigma significance calculations and printed out nearly final copies of three of the four GRBs I will present as my sample. One of the GRBs looks very interesting, however, two do not. Tomorrow I will look at the fourth (and perhaps most interesting). I also hope to learn how to color-code the data points on my plots tomorrow.

Next week I will create and print my poster for the meeting. Only a little more than a week until I fly to Los Angeles!
