Is 070306 a dead issue? I'm not sure, but it seems to be a whole lot less urgent now than it was on Tuesday. I guess it'll get filed away as a statistical curiosity that was almost my first big discovery, and I'll move on.

I spent the whole day working on my poster. I narrowed down my sub-sample to 11 flaring GRBs. I created a histogram of my whole sample based on the time duration, and a second histogram of just my sub-sample. I wrote up a quick few bullets about the data and criteria I'm using in this study. I localized the sources in the x-ray fields and created light curves. I filtered out the non-flaring parts of the light curves. I took those filtered files and created power density spectra. I edited all the plots to make them look pretty and readable at a distances. I spliced all the light curves together and all the power spectra together into two blocks of plots. And finally, I read about x-ray flares and wrote up a short thing about them. I still have much left to do!
