Because they're beautiful, here are photos I took of 4 of the 5 shuttle launches I've seen.

STS-112 launch on October 7, 2002, from the highway
STS-113 launch on November 24, 2002, from the Press Site at KSC
STS-114 launch on July 26, 2005, from the VIP bleachers at KSC
STS-121 launch on July 4, 2006, from next to the VAB
