Back to Work / Astrophysics Paper & Presentation

Getting back to it, I've caught up with recent bursts and nearly finished with the 2005 sample. I've also started to do some spectral analysis again.

Today I downloaded and installed jpeg2ps, which is a wrapper designed to convert a jpeg graphic into a postscript file. I can then insert the postscript file into LaTeX file.

I also submitted a short paper for my Astrophysics course on the relation between GRBs and pulsars. The models behind GRB formation are definitely more complex than my current grasp of physics. Understanding what is going on and forming and interacting is something I'm definitely going to need to work on.

I gave a brief presentation on GRBs for my Astrophysics class on Tuesday, which was a new spin on my old talk. I think it went really well! I need to cut the rambling a bit more and get to the point, and I'll be just fine.
