2006 Swift GRB Analysis / Thankful

I didn't think I would be able to, but I finished going through all the GRBs from 2006 (aside from the ones that happened this past week). I didn't count, but that's roughly 50 GRBs with windowed timing data. I want to take a second look at some of them, especially the ones I did when I was just learning the process. Then I'll move on to the 2005 data (while still keeping up with ongoing bursts, of course). Eventually I'll probably end up going through them all again for a final time to make sure I didn't miss anything.

I feel really grateful to be where I am today. Few people are actually able to live their dream, yet here I am, learning to become an astrophysicist for NASA. Sometimes, when all I'm doing is staring at numbers on a screen, I forget the greater purpose in my work. Each person, from lowly students to the top administrators, is a piece of the collective goal to achieve NASA's missions and to further space exploration and scientific understanding. It's really amazing to me that we live in a time and a place where I can have this opportunity.
