SGR Analysis / Weird "Bursting"

I’ve made a plethora light curves and spectra of SGR 1900+14. I fit background-subtracted photon counting mode spectra with power law and blackbody with absorption models. Most of the spectra were similar, although some had minor parameter deviations. I will need to look at these closer a little later.

Sandy and I went through some light curves and found small bursts in the first observation and some weird activity throughout. It's possible they're not bursts at all, but another feature, perhaps the Earth, Sandy suggested. We see sharp rises in count rate at the edges of groups of data, usually at the end. I need to look at this more closely to see how many of these "bursts" occurred, when they occurred, and what they looked like. This is the first soft gamma repeater I’ve ever looked at, so I’m having trouble determining whether what I’m seeing is normal. I’ve never seen light curve profiles like these before. It’s pretty neat.
