FAS Talk & GRB 060218
My FAS talk is nearly completed, and I am pleased with how it is turning out. I kept more of my previous talk than I expected, but improved on it.
It worked out well to focus on one interesting GRB (060218) instead of presenting large amounts of data about a sample of many, similar to how a story about one is more effective than mass statistics. By emphasizing this somewhat unusual GRB, I can discuss duration, luminosity, XRT, data collection modes, host galaxies, supernovae associations of long bursts, model fits, and rebrightenings.
I will continue to work on it up until Friday.
