It has been a while since I updated. So far this semester I have:

~ Written a mid-project progress report
~ Applied to UAH for grad school
~ Begun my application for the NASA Harriett Jenkins Predoctoral Fellowship
~ After some complications, successfully downloaded and installed Cygwin on my laptop, only to discover that is doesn't allow me to do what I need to do
~ Receive authority to kick people off Hubble if I need to
~ Begun analyzing a random GRB from the summer (050730) to regain familiarity

I've also been thinking a lot about short-term (this semester) and long-term (grad school) goals. Already I can tell that this semester will be much more productive than the last.
